Something to help you seek the light when you're tempted to criticise yourself
We all want to improve. And yet, we regularly don’t do what we know we should. Or we just don’t do as well as we hoped. Maybe this happens daily for you; maybe less often (tell me how, if so!).
When it does, how do you speak to yourself? Whether you have mainly positive, open thoughts, or more negative and recriminating ones, the second will probably still be a feature, somewhere. You might not even realise it’s happening, because you’re so used to it.
This is a list of things to remember - some to tell, some to ask yourself - in response to those thoughts. Pick the ones you need for different times.
